Great news for all computational optimizers: in Clarivate's "Science Citation Index Expanded", the 2-year impact factor for MPC is 8.059, which ranks it
first out of 267 applied mathematics journals and sixth out of 110 computer science / software engineering journals.
Jonathan Eckstein, Editor-In-Chief of MPC, sends a message to the current and former MPC board members:
"I would like to thank current board members, the previous editors-in-chief (Bill Cook and Dan Bienstock), and past board members for helping MPC achieve this status."
Excellent journals depend on excellent manuscript submissions. The rate of submission to MPC has been higher so far in 2022 than it was in 2021,
and the Mathematical Optimization Society hopes to grow MPC with a continuation of this trend.
Keep those contributions coming!
